I love the criteria married people use for matchmaking their single friends. It goes something like this:

Friend: Do you want to go on a date with Joe? (names changed to protect the innocent)

Me: I don’t know. Why?

Friend: Because he’s single!

Yep, the criteria used by married people to determine whether two single people should date is that they’re both single. ‘Cause duh, you must have so much in common since you’re both unattached!

I know they mean well…
